Time for a fantastic Christmas post

It's Christmas! This guy got a banjo! This guy will know how to play the banjo by next year's bowl pick'em challenge! lol nope.

Let's start with a good ol Christmas story.

Twas the day before Christmas
And all through the Bahamas
Several Creatures were stirring
Though none of them llamas (wrong country)
The Hilltoppers and Chippewas
Were playing with care
In hopes that the Bahamas bowl victory
Would soon be theirs
At the end of the third
Down by more than thirty-four
Central Michigan was turning it into a bore
Suddenly from the huddle there came a big fuss
Then 80 yards on 10 plays- that sure is a plus
Three and out by the defense
That's reason for cheer
50 yards to go?
no problem my dear
50 yards on five plays in only two minutes
Rush (QB) passed to Davis for the 23 yard finish
Some good Chippewa defense now with 6:16 left
The score deficit seemed none-too-large to heft
Now just two minutes to score two TDs
And two is what they got!

Then they blew it by going for two and failing
The end
- Christmas classic

Ok so the group that seems to care the most is the Independents

#1 8-2 - Derek holds his lead despite his loss in the Bahamas bowl because....
           - ...Josh lost the same game
^ Teirra "Rose" because of her perfect selections (her middle name is Rose [it's a pun {and it's funny}])
#4 7-3 - Ben knew all along who would win both of these games.
           - David knew too I guess.
#6 6-4 v Jerry found a way to lose the Bahamas Bowl.
#7 5-5 ^ Craig jumped up several spots with his perfect day yesterday.
           - Jean stays in the same place due to her Bahamas loss.
           - Amy and Jean must have collaborated. Oh wait, she only picked the team on the left every time. Never mind
#10 4-6 v Ryan dropped both games yesterday, and that allowed...
^ Cole to catch up by snapping his 6 game losing streak
#12 3-7 v Ambyr- she isn't in last place, she is in first AND second place!

Spanish

#1 7-3 v Kiel - Could it be that the reign of terror has ended? She lost both games yesterday.
^ Abbi is on a six-game hot streak.
^ Andrew won both games yesterday to jump into the tri for first
#4 6-4 ^ Gracie came back from a shaky start to win five in a row.
#5 5-5 - Avery split games yesterday
^ But she stays ahead of me because of the ninja she drew at the bottom of her sheet.
           - Megan is still even for some reason.
#8 4-6 v Anna has fallen on rough times, but tomorrow she will have three chances to catch up.
^ Chloe must be in a bad place if she won both games yesterday and only moves up to ninth. The good news is that she is in the same boat as Anna.
#10 3-7 v Beth- I forgot to include her in Spanish up until now.
             - Holly- She probably wishes I hadn't included her this whole time.

Family

#1 8-2 - Brett is a nerd
#2 7-3 - So is Dad
#3 6-4 ^ Christie is here somehow
#4 5-5 ^ Ben is happy
           v Brianne is not
#6 4-6 v Mom is not either. She is only one game ahead of...
#7 3-7 - Beth

D Group

#1 7-3 ^ Matthias regains the lead because...
#2 6-4 v Nathan is on a three game losing streak.
^ Tommy continued on his way by winning the last three
^ Dustin is somehow a game behind first.
